Biography
Jeff
Daubenmire is a distinguished musician, composer and director of music who has written and arranged pieces for voice, piano, and organ over the last twenty years.
Mr. Daubenmire performs frequently at the piano and accompanies a diverse selection of community productions, regional events and other venues throughout the United States. He has performed as a professional musician for many years, produced and released three albums, and continues to work and perform collaboratively with internationally known artists and other regional musicians.
Jeff’s own musical style is a compelling blend of classical and jazz elements layered with an insightful grace and spiritual edge, giving his music a profound warmth and emotional sensibility. He is accomplished in many styles, including classical, jazz, musical theater, popular and other contemporary genres.
Highlighting his tenure as a musician includes several collaborative performances with
world renowned musician, Bradley Hunter Welch.

Jeff holds degrees in music education and educational administration from Ohio University and currently serves as the Dean of Business, Arts and Sciences and Computer Information at Hocking College. During his career as an educator, he has served as a teacher, elementary principal, assistant high school principal, high school principal, curriculum director and collegiate instructor.
In addition to his current role as a college administrator, Jeff teaches courses as an adjunct instructor at University of Rio Grande. He is Director of Music and Organist for the First Presbyterian Church and Organist for St. John Catholic Church of Logan. Mr. Daubenmire also serves as Sub Dean for the Southeast Ohio Chapter of the American Guild of Organists.
