Bradley Welch Opens 2012 Concert Series
The 2012 season will open on March 19, 2012 with Dr. Bradley Hunter Welch in an organ and piano duet concert with Jeff Daubenmire at the First Presbyterian Church of Logan. This will be Dr. Welch’s fifth appearance in Logan. He is widely recognized and popular in the area, having been part of several unforgettable performances over the years. These include an Organ Recital and Christmas Concert in 2009, a Duo Piano Concert in 2010, Duo Piano Concert Two in 2011, and a Duo Piano Encore performance at the First Presbyterian Church. We are truly fortunate to have the world renowned Dr. Welch as a frequent performer in the Logan community.

This exciting performance brings the internationally known organist to Logan in November for concert appearances at the First Presbyterian Church and St. John Catholic Church. This will be our marquee event of the season. We look forward to the great skills and enthusiasm that Adam will bring to Logan.

A Show To Remember
Tuesday’s Piano Concert with Jeff Daubenmire was warmly welcomed by more than 150 supporters of the First Presbyterian Church Concert Series in acknowledgment of the man responsible for planning and presenting such diverse and engaging concerts over the years that so many have enjoyed. The stage was his alone Tuesday night, a rare occasion as normally it has been his mission to give the spotlight to others, including our great stable of local talent as well as nationally recognized artists.
There were scores of memorable moments, the two represented here, Over The Rainbow and a Christmas Season Medley, included slideshows and were well received. The CD reception afterwards was a great success. While Sounds of the Christmas Season sold out, we will be offering it again at upcoming concerts and through the website shortly. We express our gratitude to all who were able to share in this special evening with us. The support and kind words of everyone involved and present made the concert extraordinary and helped to honor the one whose tireless efforts and talents have made First Presbyterian Church Concert Series a wonderfully rich experience.
